About Pure Kids
Pure Kids Wholesale is a Danish children wear company founded in 2004, who owns the brands Phister & Philina and Racoon Outdoor. Great design and functionally are key characteristics of both brands, as well as their mindset to produce better products through environmentally-friendly technical solutions.
Phister & Philina illustrates what “a quirky universe” looks like, where creativity and imagination are the order of the day. Besides the energetic and fun prints, you can expect clothing with optimum fit, designed for movement and comfort. All materials and colors are selected to meet children’s need for warmth, softness, and durability in every situation. Addressing environmental issues with clean technologies
Pure Kids seeks to be one of the most environmentally conscious players in the Danish market when it comes to children wear, so they have created a Code of Conduct for all contractors and subcontractors. Streamlined communication as first priority
Tilde Cramon, Technical Designer at Pure Kids, shared a few words with us on how the company got started with Delogue and use the platform to create a streamlined communication flow between team members and suppliers.
As Tilde told us, Pure Kids has not previously used any product development and management (PDM) systems:
“Communication with suppliers was mainly handled over email and Excel sheets which sometimes can be quite confusing, especially when buyers, technicians, designers, and assistants have to follow up on production in all sample sections.” – Tilde explains and continues: “It became a challenge particularly during holidays because it was so difficult – and time-consuming – to find the relevant information in all the emails sent back and forward. Therefore, I suggested Delogue to clear up all the many technical specifications and to be the main channel for communicating with suppliers.”
The designer also highlighted the benefits of integrating Delogue with other solutions which made total sense in their case: “Pure Kids was bought by another company that was using Navision and it was obvious to implement Delogue as well. First of all, Delogue facilitates the workflows of the design department and makes the sample flow more clear for all parties. On top of that, it simplifies the ongoing communication with our logistics and sales solutions in Navision.” – she concludes.
With such structure, Pure Kids can now ensure that all departments are aligned and updated with the relevant information, as well as their suppliers. The company is able to overview their products flow in every stage of the process which plays a significant role when managing different brands and projects.
