All started with an ethnic-inspired women’s collection in 1997. Since then, the brand quickly gained international recognition and today DAY comprises four brand lines that are continuously developed by the founder Keld Mikkelsen. The brand’s bohemian yet modern style consists of fine tailoring, fabrics and detailed embellishment designs with a story to tell.

DAY Birger et Mikkelsen’s headquarters are situated in the heart of Copenhagen, Denmark but the brand has also gone over borders, opening seven flagship stores and points of sale in more than a thousand shops in 25 countries.
