The brand was founded in 1993 in the idyllic seaside town of Hornbæk in the northern part of Denmark. It encompasses the fashion brand ILSE JACOBSEN HORNBÆK, the flower shops BLOMSTEN by ILSE JACOBSEN, the luxurious spa KURBADET by ILSE JACOBSEN and the award-winning spa- and beauty products ILSE by ILSE JACOBSEN.
The brand lives in 23 concept stores, 5 flower shops, 11 shop-in-shops and a spa, and it’s present in more than 25 different countries including all the major cities around the world – Paris, New York, Berlin, London, Stockholm, Melbourne, Madrid, Zürich, Amsterdam, Oslo, Copenhagen, Tokyo, among others.
Full picture provided by a fast implementation
Bianca Hegedüs, Brand Manager at Ilse Jacobsen Hornbæk told us about the company’s wishes: “We were looking for something fast and with a user-friendly interface that wouldn’t alienate our big team. Delogue became our choice, as it didn’t require us to change any other IT solutions or routines, and we could easily get started”.
Another important requirement was to find a solution that could also allow communication between all parts of the brand core business and give instant sharing of changes. “We spent hours on inaccurate updates in Excel. Our management rarely had the full picture without involving our complete team of designers, buyers, and production” – highlights Bianca.
However, already two weeks after the implementation of Delogue, an online product data management tool, Ilse Jacobsen Hornbæk feels released from all the hours spent in Excel.
“We are already now able to feed our sales staff with quick overviews and status – even being asked for a report isn’t a drag but fun – because it is so visual.”

Implementation and training are key
At Delogue, we work hard to provide the optimal support for each individual customer. So it’s crucial to guide our users throughout the process of getting started with the system. This includes training sessions with teams to make the user onboarding as easy as possible.
We couldn’t avoid asking Bianca about the implementation process at Ilse Jacobsen Hornbæk: “Of course the implementation phase is quite tiresome, but our team quickly got the hang of the Delogue platform and in a couple of hours everybody was really dedicated. Besides the team members at Ilse Jacobsen, the Delogue support team has been awesome. Without the excellent support and rapid understanding of our issues and demands, the quick implementation hadn’t been possible”.
