Delogue Unveils New User Interface for the Size Chart

Copenhagen, Denmark – January 10, 2025 – At Delogue PLM, we are thrilled to introduce the newly redesigned User Interface (UI) for the Size Chart (formerly known as the Measurement Chart). This upgrade focuses on simplicity and enhanced usability, providing our users with a seamless experience tailored to meet their diverse needs. The new features aim to save time, minimise errors, and improve the overall workflow when working with product measurements.

Enhanced Features for the Size Chart

New User Interface

The Size Chart now has a fresh, modern design with simple icons, making it easier to use and navigate. This new look streamlines your workflow and helps you manage size data more efficiently.

Expanded View
The new expanded view allows you to see a larger section of the Size Chart without needing to scroll horizontally. This improved layout gives you more space on your screen and makes it easier to work on your measurements. All the usual functionalities of the normal view remain accessible in the expanded view.

Additionally, you can choose to display comments and files next to your expanded Size Chart for better collaboration and documentation. Any adjustments made in the expanded view are saved automatically, just like in the normal view. 

Zoom and Scroll Functionality
The updated Size Chart includes both zoom and scroll functionality, offering you a greater control over how to view and navigate their data. You can zoom in to focus on specific details or zoom out to get an overview of the entire chart. The zoom level is saved for each style, so you can easily pick up where you left off without needing to reset it. In addition to zooming, you can now scroll effortlessly through the Size Chart. This makes navigating larger charts or datasets smoother and more efficient, whether you’re working in the normal or expanded view. 

Files in the Size Chart
The updated Size Chart now makes it easier to work with related files. You can view and manage your files directly within the Files section of the Size Chart. This feature allows you to see the contents of each file, ensuring quick access to important documents like "How to Measure" guides or other supporting materials.

You can also navigate between multiple files using the arrows, making it simple to review or compare documents without leaving the Size Chart. This update keeps everything you need in one place, streamlining the process of managing and referencing your files alongside your size data.

Simplified Naming

To align with user expectations, we’ve made a key update to naming, which ensure clarity and consistency across the platform:

The term "Measurement" is now referred to as "Size".

Introducing Size Chart Conversions

To meet the needs of users working with inches and fractions, we’ve introduced support for fractional measurements within the Size Chart. You can now quickly make conversions between centimeters and inches within the Size Chart of each style, and if you work with fractions, you can turn this option on or off depending on your needs. You can also effortlessly switch between units, ensuring the system works seamlessly for both you and your suppliers - even if you prefer using different units. 

If you choose to work with fractions, you can now enter values as fractions wherever units are added, such as in the item header. This update provides more flexibility and accuracy in the sizing process, making it easier to work with inches as the standard.
